Egypt’s military issued a stern warning to Palestinians and Syrians living near the country’s port city of Suez against interfering with Egypt’s internal affairs.


The country’s state-run news agency carried the statement the day after violent clashes in Suez between local shop owners and supporters of the overthrown Morsi reportedly injured 112 people.

The warning came less than a week after Hamas was caught attempting to smuggle 19 Grad rockets into Cairo via Sinai, according to a high level Egyptian Army officer.

Hamas is facing protests in Cairo today from Egyptian opposition sources, according to a new report.

Khaled Mashal, figurehead of the radical Sunni Islam fundamentalist terrorist group, is reportedly meeting with Egypt’s director of Intelligence Mohammed Raafat Shehat, Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi, and Muslim Brotherhood figures to allegedly seek allies in the Hamas versus Hezbollah conflict in Syria vardenafil india.

Egyptian opposition figures are said to be protesting against Hamas outside of the Cairo location where the parties are believed to be meeting.

An unnamed senior IDF General Staff officer warned that “Israel’s response to the kidnapping of another soldier into the Gaza Strip,” following Cpl Gilad Shalit’s more than 4 years in captivity by the Hamas terrorist group, “will be no less severe than Operation Cast lead.”



The statement was made on the eve of resumed negotiations over Shalit’s return, through a German mediator, between Israel and Hamas, and following IDF assessments that the terror group could be planning more attempts to kidnap additional Israeli soliders
